Bay Roberts Weather

Bay Roberts Newfoundland is located on the north shore of Conception Bay, which covers about 1300 sq. km (502 sq. mi.) and has these three major islands: Bell Island, Kelly's Island and Little Bell Island. St. John's is 90 km (56 mi.) away. The first Europeans (specifically the French) started visiting in the 1500s for the fish and that Bay Roberts harbour was friendly to boats.

There is much to do and see in Bay Roberts. The 7 km (4.4 mi.) Shoreline Heritage Walking Trail takes you along cliffs, beach, and sheltered coves. In June and July observe whales follow their food into the bay. Bay Roberts also has museums, art galleries and all services.
