The Harbour Lights Inn is smoke-free, located in friendly, historical Twillingate. Its character is associated with an 1820s old house mixed with elegance and the comfort of modern amenities.
Visiting our exclusive establishment situated on the waterfront of the idyllic old Twillingate Bay & Harbour will add an unique and memorable experience to your stay in Newfoundland.

We are pleased to offer 9 rooms with character, charmingly decorated and immaculately clean. Included are two deluxe, spacious queen rooms with whirlpool tubs and showers - ideal for wedding nights, special occasions or just to spoil yourself!

With its beautiful view overlooking the bay, this traditional house was built during the 1800s for the British Customs Collector, Andrew James Pearce Esq.

The house was elegantly restored and converted into the warm hospitality of an historic inn with ambiance and modern amenities for the enjoyment of its welcomed guests.

Relax in our spacious sitting room where you can either watch television with surround sound, enjoy conversation with your friends, exchange interests with other guests or indulge in reading with soft, relaxing background music.

Take a stroll on Back Harbour Beach one evening, famed for its beautiful sunsets. Back Harbour is also the site of the 1963 pre-Beothuck archaeological dig.

Watch the icebergs drifting down from the North Atlantic during the summer months, slowly making their way through Iceberg Alley, or catch the migrating Humpback whales and dolphins at play.  Take one of the three boat tour operators in town for a closer view.

Stop at St. Peter's Anglican Church, built in 1839 to admire the expert craftsmanship in design and architecture. Pay a visit tot the Anglican cemetery in Snelling's Cove where a monument was erected in memory of  Miss Georgina Stirling, the world-famous soprano opera singer who died here in her native town in 1935.
